EasyDriver Stepper Motor Driver A3967 Chip
The EasyDriver Stepper Motor Driver is a very easy to use stepper motor driver, with anything that can pulse 0 to 5 Volts or with 3.3 if you connect the SJ2 Islands together
The EasyDriver operates on a working voltage of 6 to 30 Volt DC, and can control almost any kind of stepper motor. The EasyDriver has an onboard voltage regulator for the digital interface that can be set to 5 Volt or 3.3 Volt
Simply connect a 4 wire stepper motor and a microcontroller such as Arduino and you have a Precise Motor Control. The EasyDriver can handle Bi-Polar motors, Motors wired as Bi Polar, such as 4, 6 and 8 wire stepper motors
This EasyDriver was co-designed by Brian Schmalz. It offers much more control and flexibility in controlling motors compared to old versions.
The Microstep Select (MS1 and MS2) of the A3967 have been moved outwards for extra control so you can set the stepper resolution, The Sleep Function and the Enable Function have also been moved outwards for even more control and management.
Note: Do not disconnect or connect a motor to the EasyDriver while it is running, this will irreparably damage the driver.
A3967 Microstepping Driver Chip
MS1 and MS2 pins have been pushed out for additional control and management, to Full, Half, Quarter and 8x resolution (8x is default)
Compatible. 4, 6, and 8 wire stepper motor for any voltage
Adjustable Current management from 150mA to 700ma per phase
Operating voltage from 6 to 30 Volt DC, the higher the voltage the stronger the torque at high speeds
